Hyoni Kang looks as delightful as ever in these monochrome ensembles, styled by Morgan Pilcher and photographed by Lincoln Pilcher for the September 2011 edition of Vogue China. Someone once told me that I looked like Hyoni Kang, and as you can imagine I laughed incredulously but beamed for the remainder of the day, or was it week?!

there is this magnificent tree

right in front of my house,

i plan to climb it this spring

i adore the scent of bark,

it's so fresh and distinct,

it makes me reminisce

of childhood, and of

playgrounds, of

scraped knees

and of no

insecurities;

growing up

has broken me,

pick up the pieces,

go back to the place

where there was no

care in the world
